BAM!!
A "splash" of color purely undermines the overall tone of Kenneth Cole's SS14 collection at his Presentation this afternoon at a new venue, The Garage, adjoined by Kenneth Cole Productions HQ in Hell's Kitchen. Often I find myself at runway shows asking, "would I wear that?" Truth be told, the answer would be a resounding YES from me from this collection. I will admit however, though the style is one that I personally am not used, it is one that I can see myself adjusting well to.
Ultimately, the SS14 Collection deos so much more than just reflect what is happening in the culture: Kenneth Cole is also redefining our very notion of what urban means today.
From womens to menswear, the details are alive with a meticulous blend of what I will dub as, "urban chic." In fact, Esquire is describing this collection as "mixing high and low streetwear elements with traditional tailoring."
